The plate between the rock and your sump

Rival builds skid plates, bumpers, roof racks and canopies for a specific model year and a specific engine. We run the distribution of the brand in Poland, with sales, advice and installation in Warsaw.

Pick your vehicle

Rival designs per generation and engine capacity, so everything starts with the vehicle — exactly the way the manufacturer's own catalogue works.

Why these plates

Three things you only notice from underneath

1

Stamping instead of thickness

Flat sheet folds under a point impact. Rival plates are stamped with ribs that stiffen them without adding material, which is how they stay slim and still hold their shape.

2

Ground clearance stays put

A skid plate is only worth having if it does not take away what it protects. These sit flat enough that clearance changes by a few millimetres after fitting.

3

Aluminium or steel, deliberately

Aluminium is lighter and does not rust; steel takes dragging over rock more cheaply. This catalogue offers both versions of the same plate, and that is not an accident.

The other way through the catalogue

For when you know what you want but would rather not go via the vehicle page.

Skid plates

Aluminium or steel, stamped for stiffness and slim enough that ground clearance is left practically untouched. The backbone of the whole catalogue.

Bumpers

Aluminium and steel, front and rear. Several carry German TÜV approval, which can be the deciding argument at registration.

Bed canopies

Aluminium canopies for pick-ups, in Double Cab and Extra Cab versions.

Roof racks

Modular platforms with the full range of mounts: recovery boards, jerrycans, awning, shovel, spare wheel and lights.

Side steps

Aluminium side steps — they protect the sill and make getting in easier.

Winch mounts

Including hidden mounts that fit inside the factory bumper — the winch disappears and the vehicle keeps its standard look.

Questions

Common questions

Aluminium or steel — which one?

Aluminium if weight matters and you live somewhere damp: it is about a third lighter and does not corrode. Steel if the vehicle regularly slides across rock — it takes abrasion better and is cheaper to repair. Long-distance travel usually goes aluminium; technical rock work usually goes steel.

Does a skid plate cost ground clearance?

Millimetres, not centimetres. Rival designs sit deliberately flat and bolt to factory points or chassis reinforcements, so they do not hang below the lowest point of the underbody. That is the difference between a skid plate and a bolted-on sheet.

Will a Rival bumper pass a technical inspection?

Part of the bumper range — Hilux, Ranger, Amarok, L200 and Navara among them — carries German TÜV approval, and that is the strongest argument at the inspection station. For the rest it depends on the inspector and on whether the fitting obscures lights or changes geometry. Ask before buying and we will check the specific part number.

Do you fit these yourselves?

Yes, we run a 4x4 workshop in Warsaw. Underbody plates are a job of hours, bumpers and canopies take longer. You can also collect the parts and fit them yourself — everything goes into factory points and none of it needs welding.

Not sure what fits your vehicle?

Send the model, the year and the engine capacity. Rival splits the catalogue very finely, so you will get a specific part number rather than a link to a category.
